Digital Marketer Job Description

At Natural Success, we understand a Digital Marketer to be someone who creates, plans and manages our marketing campaigns on the web, social media and other digital marketing platforms. Your duties will include identifying market trends, planning campaigns and using web analytic tools to analyse the performance of marketing campaigns. 

You must have experience in digital marketing, including social media marketing and SEO. You must also be able to build marketing sales funnels (using Kartra would be ideal) and understand paid advertising and content marketing. Experience with content strategy is beneficial.

Responsibilities for a Digital Marketer 

  • Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC)
  • Building and maintaining a brand’s presence across multiple social media channels 
  • Creating, executing and monitoring marketing campaign budgets
  • Collaborating with the team to improve marketing results and identify innovative growth strategies
  • Measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, service quotas, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment
  • Preparing reports on the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Using analytics software such as Google Analytics to identify customer touchpoints and assess end-to-end customer experience across diverse digital channels

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Working experience with website analytics, social media platforms and digital advertising best practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies
  • Strong analytical thinking skills 
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team
